LIA is fortunate to work with community partners who help our students reach their educational goals. We welcome and highly value their investment of time, talent, and funds. We recognize that our efforts are possible because of these contributions. LIA is committed to using the contributions of our community partners to benefit our students and the teachers who guide them. Here are just a few of the ways that your foundation can make a difference:

Give a Student Scholarship

Many of our students are the first in their families to attend college, and a scholarship is a life-altering gift. We would love to have your foundation sponsor a named scholarship for college-bound students.

Adopt a School

The costs associated with beginning the Latinos In Action program are sometimes more than a school district is able to afford. Your foundation could bridge the gap by providing the funds needed to help underserved Latino youth.

Sponsor an LIA Official Event

To supplement the learning that takes place in the classroom, LIA stages conferences for our students and for the teachers who guide and mentor them. We would welcome the opportunity to partner with your foundation for our motivational conferences and leadership training events.

Boot Camp
Boot camp is a four-day summer conference involving LIA college chapter students and LIA class leaders from 7th - 12th grade. Each LIA class has a leadership team. At the Boot Camps, our class leaders are given the tools they need to lead their peers during the coming school year.
VIP Breakfast
At each Youth Leadership Conference, LIA hosts an exclusive VIP breakfast for invited guests from the hosting university and greater community. The breakfast gives us a chance to thank these individuals for supporting our program. Our guests get to hear from and interact with students, keynote speakers, and our Founder and CEO Dr. Jose Enriquez. The highlight of the VIP Breakfast experience is when our guests join the opening session of the conference to witness firsthand the incredible excitement and enthusiasm of our students!
